1.      George Ironside - 1913 - first reeve of the Village of New Toronto

2.      Charles Lovejoy - 1917, first mayor of the Town of New Toronto in 1920 & 1921

1.      William Jackson - 1919-1920 & 1922-1928, then mayor until 1951 (son of Thomas Jackson who's farm (lots 5 & 6) was purchased by the Ontario Government for an experimental farm, but ended up becoming the Mimico Asylum.  The remainder of the farm, the west half of lot 4, was eventually subdivided for housing development).
